Hi, how can we help you?

Early Access – Read below to find out more…

Why Early Access?

As a small indie studio, Early Access is an essential step for us in being able to test and get feedback for a cozy MMO like Spellfarers. Early Access is all about community, and building a game you want to play. As we have with previous titles, we are in this for the long haul and intend to collect and act on feedback we receive from our players.

That said – many things are likely to change during the course of development, as is the intention. If you want to play a more polished, full experience of Spellfarers, we would encourage you to wishlist the game and wait for our ‘official’ release. In the meantime, our coven of Early Access members will help us shape the game and build Wenngrove into a welcoming place for all.

We are planning for a full launch by Q1 2025.

Our intent is to make Spellfarers a living, breathing world with regular updates and content. When we launch version 1.0, the foundational systems will be in place for us to continue adding to the world. Through your feedback, we will be able to polish those systems to a shine, allowing us to build on top of them.

Currently in Spellfarers, you can grow and gather ingredients, cast spells, build decorations, clothing, and items, and interact with the residents of Wenngrove, as well as other Witches playing in town. You’ll have your own private Witch Hut to decorate as you like, and a Familiar to keep you company as you explore the town. As we continue with development, you’ll certainly trip over some bugs and game balancing issues. We plan on regularly patching Spellfarers as we continue to test and implement your feedback.

The game is designed to be entirely free to play, both now and after Early Access. You don’t need to spend any money to get your Familiar, or decorate your home, or change your clothing, or unlock new chapters. Everything can be earned through gameplay; however, you will optionally be able to purchase in-game currency if you wish to speed up that process.

As with previous titles, we highly encourage feedback from our players! We want to incorporate your ideas so you can play the way you want to play. To that end, we have started a Spellfarers Discord, where players can share their feedback, suggestions, and comments to help us shape the game moving forward. We’ve also implemented a bug reporting system in game, so you can send your feedback in directly to us.
